The Ponds General Community
The original developer envisioned a series of communities to be nestled in the 1,000 plus acre planned community. A small mixed use business area was to exist at the front of The Ponds. This would give residents access to small shops and restaurants as well as a live-work area.
Two smaller communities were developed and the remaining households are part of a larger general community.
This planned community is situated on over 1,000 acres of land featuring Lake Schultz access to residents, two large ponds for boating and fishing and miles of hiking and bicycling paths and trails.
The community features homes developed by numerous builders including David Weekley Homes, Harbor Homes, HH Hunt Homes, Sabal Homes, Ryan Homes, Dan Ryan Homes, D.R. Horton and Kolter Homes.
Between the general community and the two smaller communities, The Ponds will boast 1,950 homes when completed.
